Southern Gutters FL handles gutter cleaning in Weston, FL, along with color-matched seamless installs and pool-cage gutters, about 30 minutes (17 miles) from our North Lauderdale base where Broward's suburbs stop at the Everglades. Here the paperwork often comes before the ladder: nearly every home sits inside an association with architectural rules, so we build each quote to make the color and profile submission straightforward.
Gutter Services That Pass Weston Architectural Review
The cards below are the services Weston owners book most, each written with association rules in mind. For a broader look at what committees typically ask, see our guide to HOA gutter rules in Weston, Wellington and Coral Springs.
What Does a Weston HOA Install Look Like From Quote to Final Walk?
- We measure the roofline and photograph each elevation, then put gutter size, profile, color name and downspout locations in a written quote.
- You submit that quote with the association's form; we can supply color chips or a spec sheet if the committee asks.
- After approval, the crew checks in at the gatehouse or with your visitor pass and parks where the community allows.
- We roll-form seamless aluminum on site, fasten with stainless hardware and paint any cut edges.
- Before leaving, we flush each downspout with you and leave the site clean enough for the next HOA drive-by.

Cleaning visits are simpler, though many communities still restrict contractor hours, especially on Saturdays. Let us know your association's rules and we will plan around them.

Tile Roofs, Lakes and Everglades Wind West of I-75
Weston began as Indian Trace, part of roughly 15,000 acres once controlled by Arvida founder Arthur Vining Davis. The name changed in the early 1980s, the first Arvida homes were finished in 1984, and residents voted the city into being on September 3, 1996. The 2020 Census counted 68,107 people, almost all of them in planned neighborhoods.
Most Weston homes were built from the late 1980s through the 2000s with concrete tile roofs, stucco walls and screened pools. That makes a large share of the original gutters twenty-five or more years old, and we see the age in loose hangers, failing corner seals and faded paint that no longer matches the association palette.
Weston's western neighborhoods meet the Everglades levee along US 27, and the open sawgrass and the city's chain of stormwater lakes give wind a long run before it hits a roof. Storm gusts push rain sideways under the tile edge and fling palm debris into gutters. Tile valleys add volume, so on larger homes we often recommend 6-inch gutters with bigger downspouts.
Bonaventure is the exception: it was sold off from the original tract and developed separately, and its 1970s homes and condo buildings predate the Arvida plan, with more shingle and flat-roof sections and older fascia to check.
From Bonaventure to Savanna and the Isles of Weston
We cover the whole city: Bonaventure in the north, Weston Hills and the neighborhoods around Weston Town Center, The Ridges, Savanna and the Isles of Weston out west. Visits here often combine with jobs in Southwest Ranches and Davie, which sit just to the east.
Each part of town has its own pattern. Bonaventure, now the city's Bonaventure Development District, brings condo buildings whose boards or managers schedule cleanings as a group. The older Arvida neighborhoods off Weston Road and Royal Palm Boulevard are where first-generation gutters are wearing out and color-matched replacements lead the work. Savanna, The Ridges and the Isles of Weston sit closest to the levee and the lake chain, so wind-blown palm debris and big tile valleys set the cleaning calendar there.
Almost all of these communities run a guardhouse or call box, so a visitor pass in your name saves the crew a wait at the gate. Corner lots along the landscaped boulevards also catch royal palm fronds from the medians after every windy cold front.

Our crews leave North Lauderdale on the Sawgrass Expressway, continue south onto I-75 and exit at Royal Palm Boulevard into Weston.

Weston gutter questions we hear most
Will my Weston HOA approve gutters that match my house?
Usually. Almost every Weston home sits in an association with architectural review, and committees generally sign off when the color and profile come from their approved list. We name the exact color and size in the written quote and can provide samples, which is what most architectural committees want. Approval times vary by association, so submit early if you are planning around rainy season.
My Weston home still has its original 1990s gutters. Repair or replace?
It depends on condition, and many Weston gutters date from the Arvida build-out that started in 1984. If the runs are straight and only a few hangers or corners leak, repair is the sensible choice. If seams leak along the length, paint is chalking and the color no longer matches the HOA palette, replacement with seamless aluminum usually makes more sense. We will tell you honestly which applies.
