Southern Gutters FL provides gutter cleaning in Miramar, FL, along with seamless installs and downspout work, about 35 minutes (22 miles) from our North Lauderdale shop at the southern edge of Broward. Miramar is really two building eras sharing one name: 1960s block homes in the east that often never had gutters, and newer HOA subdivisions in the west where builders frequently left the gutter package unfinished.

Services for East Miramar Ranches and Western HOA Homes

Pick the card that fits your side of town. Owners in the newer western communities usually need HOA color approval and pool-cage gutters, while east Miramar owners are often adding gutters for the first time or replacing a tired sectional system. Not sure where your downspouts should discharge? Our guide to where downspouts should drain covers swales, yards and lake banks.

Two Building Eras Strung Along Miramar Parkway

Miramar incorporated on May 26, 1955, and its first mayor chose a Spanish name meaning “look at the sea,” a little ironic for a city whose western limits run out toward US 27 and the Everglades. The 2020 Census counted 134,721 residents, and most of the growth behind that number landed in the western half, on low ground that was still open land a generation ago.

East Miramar's 1960s houses are mostly single-story concrete block with low hip roofs in shingle or flat tile. With no gutter, rain drops straight off the drip edge, splashes stucco, erodes the planting bed and soaks the slab edge. Adding a seamless run with a couple of well-placed downspouts fixes most of that, and we check the original fascia first, because sixty years of sun and rain leave some boards soft.

Many east Miramar ranch homes were built without gutters, so a first run solves years of splash-back.

Out in western Miramar the picture flips. Silver Shores, Monarch Lakes and their neighbors were built with concrete tile roofs, screened pools and lake-and-swale drainage, and many builders installed only partial gutters or none. The ground is low and flat, so a downspout dumping beside the foundation can leave water standing for hours after a summer storm. Planning outlets toward the swale or lake bank matters as much as the gutter itself.

Covering Miramar From Pembroke Road to the County Line

We work across the whole city: the older streets off Pembroke Road and Miramar Parkway in the east, the neighborhoods around Miramar Regional Park, and the western subdivisions including Silver Shores and Monarch Lakes. Calls here often pair with Pembroke Pines jobs just to the north.

The work changes as you move west. Off Pembroke Road and the eastern stretch of Miramar Parkway, near Florida's Turnpike, we mostly hang first-time seamless runs and replace soft fascia on 1960s ranches. Out past I-75 it is finishing builder gutter packages, adding cage gutters over screened pools and pointing downspouts at the swale. Homes along County Line Road sit right at the Miami-Dade boundary, and since we serve both counties, the line makes no difference to scheduling. Debris follows the same split: mature oaks drop leaves into east-side gutters all year, while west-side roofs collect palm fronds blown across the lakes.

For the western communities we reach the neighborhood by I-75; for east Miramar we stay on Florida's Turnpike, which crosses the eastern part of the city.

From our North Lauderdale base we take Florida's Turnpike south into east Miramar, or the Sawgrass Expressway and I-75 for the western subdivisions.

“One of the best experiences of dealing with a contractor in south Florida. Chance was on time, extremely professional, and provided an excellent quote. I believe the work speaks for itself. I’m very pleased with the outcome!”

“Southern Gutters FL is an outstanding company, from start to finish. Contacted them on a Sunday thinking that I would not get a response till Monday, wrong received text from them shortly after leaving message. I explained my issue provided photos and architectural rendering received detailed response with what would be needed to correct a poor installation from another gutter company in this area and me playing Bob Villa which I don't recommend "I completely pulled the gutters out and off the house well mostly off some was still hanging" 😭🤪 and a quote for service and they installed two days later making my back yard perfect for the 4th of July weekend. First two photos was my Handy work 🤯 the next two are after Southern Gutter was finished with perfect installation and gutters that actually drain.”

How Do HOA Gates and Builder Warranties Affect a West Miramar Visit?

If your home is still under a builder warranty, check whether adding gutters affects it before we start; most owners find it does not, but it is worth asking. Gated communities in west Miramar need your name on the visitor list, and some associations want the gutter color approved in writing before installation day.

  • Cleaning visits: hand-bagging, downspout flush, photos of any loose hangers or seams.
  • New installs: we measure, confirm color and outlet spots, then roll-form seamless runs in the driveway.
  • Drainage: we show you where each downspout will discharge before anything is cut.

What Miramar property owners ask us

Can you add gutters to a 1960s east Miramar home that never had them?

Yes. East Miramar filled in during the decades after the 1955 incorporation, often without gutters. We inspect the fascia first, replacing any soft wood, then roll-form seamless aluminum on site and place downspouts where the water can drain away from the slab. On many of these single-story homes, a front and rear run with three or four downspouts handles the roof well.

Do new homes in western Miramar need gutters if the builder left them off?

Western Miramar sits on flat, low ground running toward the Everglades, and on those tile-roof lots gutters help a lot. They stop roof water from cutting trenches in the landscaping and pooling against the foundation, and they protect screened pool enclosures. Check your HOA rules on color and your builder warranty, then we can design the system.

How long does a gutter install take in Miramar?

Most single-family installs are finished in one day once color is confirmed. In Silver Shores, Monarch Lakes and other western associations, that means having the architectural approval in hand first. East Miramar ranches that need fascia repair before the gutter goes up may run longer, and we tell you that in the written quote.
