Hillsboro Beach is about 20 minutes and 11 miles from our North Lauderdale base, reached over the Hillsboro Boulevard bridge at its north end. We clean, install and storm-repair gutters for oceanfront estates, Intracoastal homes and A1A condominium associations. The town has more homes than residents, 2,428 housing units for 1,987 people in 2020, so gutter work here runs on a schedule rather than on a call after something overflows.
How do scheduled visits work for absentee owners on A1A?
Most of our Hillsboro Beach customers set up service through a property manager, building manager or house manager. We agree on dates for the year, usually one visit before the rainy season and one after hurricane season, with extra checks after named storms if the owner wants them.

- The manager confirms gate codes, alarm notes and where the crew may park on the A1A shoulder or drive.
- We clean gutters, flush downspouts and check every hanger and strap on the ocean-facing side.
- Photos and a short written note go to the owner and the manager the same day.
- Any repair is quoted in writing before we touch it.

Gutter work Hillsboro Beach estates and condo boards ask for
Requests here are a mix of private estates and association buildings, and nearly all of them are shaped by salt exposure. These services cover what we are typically asked to do.
Ocean on one side, Intracoastal on the other: the barrier-strip problem
Named for the Earl of Hillsborough, who held British Crown land grants in Florida, the town incorporated in 1939 with 17 voters, nine private houses and the Hillsboro Club. It runs about three miles from the Deerfield Beach line south to the Hillsboro Inlet, where the 1907 Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse stands. A1A, officially the 3.2-mile Hillsboro Mile, is the only road through.
The town covers roughly 1.45 square miles on paper, but only about 0.37 of that is land. In many places the ground between ocean and Intracoastal is barely wider than one lot.
That shape means there is no sheltered side of the house. Estates catch spray from the beach and humid salt air off the Intracoastal, and mid-rise condos take wind across their full height. Plain-steel screws and downspout straps rust first, often pitting through before the aluminum gutter shows any wear. Seams on older sectional runs open as the fasteners loosen.

Coconut palms, sea grape and dense tropical plantings around estates drop fronds and broad leaves, while condo roofs collect sand and bird nesting material in their scuppers. Left alone for a season, both lead to overflow onto stucco and pavers, and in a house that sits empty for the summer, nobody sees it happen.
Covering the full A1A strip from the Deerfield line to the inlet
Our crews work along the entire A1A corridor in Hillsboro Beach, from the oceanfront condominiums near the Deerfield Beach line to the estates closest to the Hillsboro Inlet, on both the ocean and Intracoastal sides of the road. Visits here are often paired with Lighthouse Point and Deerfield Beach.
There is no commercial strip to stage from. The town is entirely residential, with no businesses, schools or street lights, so the crew parks only where the manager or association directs and finishes ladder work well before dusk. On the oceanfront condo side we work through building managers; on the estate side, through house managers who hold gate codes and alarm notes.
Typical jobs: twice-yearly cleanings booked a season ahead, stainless strap and hanger swaps on ocean-facing walls, scupper clearing on mid-rise roofs, and photo reports after a named storm. We come across the Intracoastal on Hillsboro Boulevard and turn south onto A1A, with the lighthouse at the far end of the run.

Crews leave North Lauderdale for I-95 northbound, exit at Hillsboro Boulevard, cross the Intracoastal and turn south onto A1A into Hillsboro Beach.

Hillsboro Beach gutter FAQs
Can you clean my Hillsboro Beach gutters while I'm out of state?
Yes. With 2,428 housing units for 1,987 residents, many owners here are seasonal, so we work through your property or house manager. We confirm the date ahead of time, follow the gate and alarm instructions you give us, and send before-and-after photos with a short note so you know exactly what was done.
What wears out first on gutters along Hillsboro Beach?
Usually the hardware. On a strip this narrow, salt air from both the ocean and the Intracoastal rusts plain-steel screws, hangers and downspout straps, and the gutter then sags or separates. We check fasteners on every visit and use stainless-steel hardware on installations and repairs.
Do you work with condominium boards on A1A?
We do. For buildings along the Hillsboro Mile we walk the property with the manager, write a quote listing each roof area and scupper, and can set up a recurring schedule with a written report after every visit for the board's records.
